Selma Blair Involved in Incident on Delta Airlines Flight

Selma Blair, known for her role in “Cruel Intentions,” was reportedly involved in a violent incident on a Delta Airlines flight. The New York Port Authority stated that Blair was taken into custody and then transported to a hospital for evaluation on Sunday night. The allegations suggest she became physically abusive with the flight staff.

The Port Authority Police Department received a call around 11 p.m. after a flight from Los Angeles International Airport landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Two flight attendants needed medical assistance following the alleged altercation during the flight. One of the attendants was also taken to a hospital for further examination. The FBI has launched an investigation into the matter.

Blair’s representatives explained, “Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition.” Dispatch audio obtained by TMZ revealed that a flight attendant suffered a bloody nose and Blair allegedly hit her head against an overhead compartment.

A Delta spokesperson commented via email, “Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first.”

This is not Blair’s first incident on a flight. In 2016, she was hospitalized after a situation on a flight from Cancun, Mexico, to Los Angeles International Airport. She later apologized, acknowledging that combining alcohol with medication led to her erratic behavior and blackout.

The FBI has not been immediately available for comment regarding the latest incident. The situation is ongoing, and updates are expected.
