Early Saturday, Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly required medical assistance following a head injury sustained at the federal prison where he serves time. The details of his exact injury and treatment location remain unclear, according to TMZ.
At Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institute in New Jersey, sources told TMZ that Combs, currently serving a 50-month sentence for transporting individuals for prostitution, was transported by ambulance around 1 a.m. He returned to the institution before dawn, conscious and able to communicate, as reported by TMZ.
This event took place approximately 10 days after NBC released a report stating that Combs paid fellow inmates collectively thousands each month for services including cooking, cleaning, laundry, and massages. Following a recent altercation, he had been released from solitary confinement, but the incident led to his return to solitary and extended his release date by several weeks.
