Actress Jane Seymour recently shared her happiness as she announced her engagement to musician John Zambetti. The couple, who have been together for three years, appeared joyful while attending the 33rd annual Race to Erase MS benefit in Los Angeles.
Seymour, 75, expressed her joy at finding love at this stage in her life. She described Zambetti as her perfect match, emphasizing their relationship’s serendipitous timing. At 78, Zambetti encouraged staying optimistic about love, believing it brought him Seymour.
“It’s all out there,” Zambetti said. “Lovely people are everywhere. It’s a miracle in my opinion.”
Seymour agreed, saying she felt incredibly fortunate to have found Zambetti at this point in her life. She highlighted their mutual understanding and support for one another’s careers. As an actress, Seymour appreciated Zambetti’s support during her film projects, while she admired his work on his music albums.
“We’re equally supportive of one another, and it’s great,” Seymour stated.
They share a youthful connection, with Zambetti humorously comparing their relationship to teenagers at their parents’ house. The couple announced their engagement under slightly chaotic yet romantic circumstances. Zambetti proposed to Seymour the day before her birthday on Valentine’s Day, at their home in Malibu. Despite a comedic mishap with the ring, which led to laughter, the proposal was memorable.
Seymour’s romantic journey includes four previous marriages and six children. Her first marriage was to Michael Attenborough, followed by Geoffrey Planer, businessman David Flynn with whom she has two children, and finally, James Keach, with whom she shares twins.
Zambetti, who was married for over four decades, brings two children from his previous marriage to Joan Zambetti. Their romantic story was proudly shared on social media, celebrating their commitment to each other.
