2 weeks ago 0

The conflict between the U.S. and Iran has intensified following a series of military actions and strong statements. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared that Iran would respond to any attacks. He emphasized the unwavering resolve of Iran’s armed forces, stating, “Despite its defeats on the battlefield, the U.S. opted to test our determination. Our Powerful Armed Forces will leave no attack or threat unanswered.” Araghchi advised the U.S. to leave the region for safety, referencing historical records of outsiders facing dire consequences in the Persian Gulf.

Meanwhile, U.S. senators received a briefing from Adm. Brad Cooper, the commander of U.S. Central Command, about an Iranian drone allegedly striking a U.S. Apache helicopter. This briefing lasted around 90 minutes and focused on the defense budget. Senator John Kennedy, R-La., expressed that Iran’s actions were intentional, indicating Iran’s attempt to demonstrate strength.

The Iranian news agency Mehr reported that projectiles hit locations in Jask and Kouhe Mobarakeh, escalating the situation further. The U.S. strikes against Iran followed the loss of an Army Apache helicopter and the rescue of its crew. The helicopter went down near Oman at 7:33 p.m. ET, while patrolling regional waters. The incident is under investigation, and President Trump announced retaliation, describing the necessity of a U.S. response policy in social media posts.

Iranian state TV has confirmed that a projectile struck Sirik, while reports of explosions and air defense activity have emerged in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm, and Sirik. In retaliation, U.S. Central Command launched new attacks against Iran, initiated under the direction of the Commander in Chief. These actions were described as a proportional response to the downing of the Apache helicopter, emphasizing self-defense.
