Rapper Waka Flocka Flame, known for hits like “No Hands,” has emerged as a surprising supporter of former President Donald Trump. In a candid interview on Tomi Lahren’s “Tomi Lahren Is Fearless,” he shared his thoughts on Trump and other topics.
Lahren began by asking Flocka about why some artists face criticism for conservative views. She mentioned Nicki Minaj, who faced backlash for her support of Trump, especially after advocating for Christians in Nigeria. Minaj’s involvement with Trump stirred reactions among her peers, such as Jay-Z, who expressed disapproval.
The conversation then shifted to Flocka’s support for Trump. He compared his preference for Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris to his preference for Kobe Bryant over LeBron James, stating, “Just like I supported Kobe Bryant over LeBron…Kobe Bryant’s a better basketball player to me.” Despite his support, Flocka clarified that he does not align with all of Trump’s policies.
Flocka also revealed that he has never voted, citing a belief prevalent in his community that votes do not carry weight. “Where I’m from, man, we call it the hood, the trenches, the ghetto. Votes don’t matter for people like us,” he explained. However, he acknowledged learning from Trump’s approach to business.
Discussing his views on Vice President Harris, Flocka was direct, stating, “Hell no,” when asked if he supported her.
Additionally, he touched on his personal life, including expecting his first biological son. Flocka acknowledged the serious responsibility of fatherhood, conveying a sense of readiness and determination to adjust to this new chapter.
