A TikTok couple, Dakota Harper, 21, and Felicity Eatmon, 22, were arrested on Tuesday. They face charges for allegedly setting an abandoned house on fire in West Virginia, potentially causing over $10,000 in damages to a nearby church. The Kanawha County Magistrate Court charged them with first-degree arson and conspiracy, a charge which could result in a life sentence.
Social Media Presence
Harper and Eatmon are known for their social media videos, boasting 28,000 followers on TikTok. Harper’s recent court appearance has gained significant attention online, particularly due to his height of 3-foot, 9-inch and weight of 43 pounds. During the arraignment in Kanawha County, an officer adjusted Harper’s chair closer to the table, highlighting his stature. Eatmon, who often identifies as Harper’s fiancée in videos, is 5 feet, 1 inch tall.
Incident Details
According to WCHS-TV, the fire occurred at 11:15 p.m. on the West Side of Charleston. Surveillance footage allegedly shows the couple initiating the fire. Eatmon was seen handing Harper a piece of paper, which he ignited and placed inside the house. This information comes from a filed complaint.
Investigators stated that the house was abandoned and lacked utilities. Despite this, the remains still smoldered into Monday morning. The nearby Canaan United Methodist Church suffered substantial damage.
Both suspects are held on $10,000 bond each. Bonny Chu, a writer for Fox News Digital, reported the story.
