Adam Vinatieri, a celebrated kicker and four-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts, joined the ranks of the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday. During the ceremony, he took an opportunity to humorously mention his former coach.
Vinatieri, who played for Bill Belichick from 2000 to 2005, was part of three Patriots’ Super Bowl wins. His clutch field goals are iconic in NFL history. In his speech delivered in Canton, Ohio, he highlighted Belichick’s impact on his career.
"Thank you for demanding excellence every single day. Your preparation, discipline, and attention to detail shaped far more than my football career," Vinatieri remarked about Belichick. He then added a light-hearted comment about the coach’s absence at the event.

Despite the jokes, Vinatieri expressed his belief in Belichick as one of the greatest coaches in NFL history.
Jordon Hudson, whom Vinatieri referred to, is known for her success in cheerleading both as a coach and a competitor. At 25, she has won several championships, with her latest triumph in April, witnessed by Belichick.
The relationship between Belichick and Hudson gained attention when Belichick began coaching the North Carolina Tar Heels before the 2025 season, subjecting their relationship to public scrutiny.
