Johan Guerrero, a Colombian immigrant, was tragically killed by an immigration agent in Biddeford, Maine. His partner, Karolina Rojas, remembers him as a devoted partner and father with an unrelenting work ethic. She wishes the public to remember him for his dedication to his family.
Ms. Rojas shared her memories at a press conference, highlighting his transformation upon learning he would become a father. She described him as someone who could not sit idle, always striving to provide for his daughter. His focus was to ensure his ‘gordita,’ as he affectionately called her, never lacked anything.
“He always worked so that his gordita would never go without,” Ms. Rojas said.
Johan Guerrero arrived in the United States in 2023 seeking a better life. The details surrounding his death remain unclear, but officials stated he was not the intended target of the immigration operation. At the time of the incident, Mr. Guerrero was in his car on his way to work.
