Pro wrestling icon Tommy Dreamer warns fans about what to expect when he reenters the ring for Awesome Championship Wrestling (ACW). Dreamer faces Josh Shernoff in a lumberjack match, joined by tag teams The Now and Sent 2 Slaughter.

As tensions rise between these factions, Dreamer cautions attendees at the MJN Center in Poughkeepsie, New York, about potential surprises in the match’s intensity: “People try to make a mark in this industry,” Dreamer mentioned in an interview. “Shernoff, once a wrestler, isn’t someone I initially took seriously. It’s embarrassing to lose control in a match. Shernoff’s persistent taunts, taking advantage of my recent absences, end now. I will remind him of the type of old-school wrestling that made me a household name.”

In a previous event, Shawn Donovan and Danny Maff severely attacked Vik Dalishus within the steel cage, with Hale Collins unable to provide aid due to restraints. This confrontation saw Dalishus’s wife racing to intervene, leading to Dalishus requiring hospitalization after the match.

“I wasn’t present at that show,” Dreamer continued, “Dalishus and Collins endured a lot. These guys are stepping out of the ring’s norms.
