Tiger Woods has been seen in Florida, leading to speculation about the status of his rehabilitation. However, reports indicate that his private plane, a Gulfstream V, has returned to Switzerland. This suggests that Woods will likely continue his rehabilitation there. The plane departed from Witham Field in Stuart, Florida, and landed in Switzerland.
Earlier, Woods was seen disembarking his private jet at Palm Beach International Airport on May 13. Many assumed this marked the end of his overseas treatment, but current developments indicate otherwise. There is some speculation about why he briefly returned to Florida. The timing matches a personal announcement from his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, who revealed her breast cancer diagnosis.
Vanessa described Woods as her “strength” during her diagnosis, sharing a photo of them together on social media.
Their relationship became public in March 2025. Woods’ recent history includes a two-car accident in March 2026 on Jupiter Island, Florida. He faced two misdemeanor charges: DUI with property damage and refusing a lawful test. Although his breathalyzer results were 0.00, he declined a urine test, leading to a refusal charge.
Woods announced on social media that he would take a break from golf to focus on his health. He gained permission in April to travel out of the country for comprehensive inpatient treatment.
Woods has not competed in golf since the 2024 Open Championship, with his last successful cut at that year’s Masters at Augusta National.
