Beverly Vance Aikins, mother of Vice President JD Vance, expressed her frustration towards Abdul El-Sayed, a Democratic Senate hopeful from Michigan. Aikins shared her thoughts in an interview with Tomi Lahren, addressing El-Sayed’s repeated criticisms of her family.
When asked about El-Sayed’s comments, Aikins said she would prefer not to respond physically, suggesting she should ‘just go with the flow.’ She highlighted her son’s character and her annoyance at the attacks aimed at their family.
El-Sayed’s remarks about Second Lady Usha Vance and the Vance children resurfaced from his April appearance on ‘The Allen Analysis Show.’ Aikins noted the possibility of jealousy, given JD Vance’s position and family life.
El-Sayed had critiqued Vance’s political views, suggesting they conflicted with his children’s biracial background. He commented on the challenges Vance’s children might face and implied a need for them to ‘undo’ their father’s politics.
El-Sayed’s comments extended to Usha Vance, advising her to leave her husband. The Vice President, JD Vance, responded to these personal attacks during a rally, defending his wife and emphasizing the inappropriateness of discussing another man’s family in such a manner.
The tension between the political figures escalated following discussions about Sharia law by El-Sayed, which JD Vance criticized during an Ohio rally, referencing his grandfather’s views.
