2 hours ago 0

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley recently made their debut in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) on the show ‘Collision’, which was held in their hometown of Detroit. Known as the Motor City Machine Guns, the duo has made a strong impression in AEW, stating their presence in the company is due to it being home to the best wrestlers.

Notable Entrance

Sabin emphasized their connection with Detroit, saying, “Did you really think we wouldn’t be here? There’s no place we’d rather be in than the greatest city in civilization. The place we represented for 20 years. Because this is where the best wrestle.”

The Motor City Machine Guns quickly impacted the AEW scene. After Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin, and Juice Robinson, collectively known as the Bang Bang Gang, defeated Jon Moxley, Pac, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta in an intense tag team match, the Gang was targeted by Clark Connors and David Finlay. The Motor City Machine Guns intervened to help the Bang Bang Gang, strengthening their presence.

Impressive Track Record

The Motor City Machine Guns are celebrated for their achievements in professional wrestling. They have competed and won titles across various promotions, including WWE, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), Ring of Honor, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. This team is known for winning tag team championships wherever they go.

Previously, Sabin and Shelley spent nearly two years in WWE before departing in April. Their recent entry into AEW is seen as a significant boost to the company’s tag team division.
