Georgia police charged 18-year-old Kingston Lammar Bradley with malice murder following the discovery of dismembered human remains in his car. Witnesses reported seeing Bradley with a suspicious container in his apartment complex. Upon being noticed, Bradley dropped the container and fled. Inside, human remains were found.
“This is a shocking crime… I’ve been in law enforcement for 25 years, and this is a particularly gruesome crime,” said Smyrna Police Lt. Meredith Holt.
The police were initially alerted by the victim’s family, whose missing member’s car and phone were located near Bradley’s residence. With the discovery of remains, police obtained a warrant for his vehicle. A tightly wrapped garbage bag in the trunk revealed parts of a body.
The Cobb County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed the presence of human remains. Smyrna Police Chief Keith Zgonc identified the victim as Shanteria “KT” Mosley, reported missing by her family. Mosley, a DoorDash employee, had not been working the day she disappeared.
Bradley faces further charges for concealing a death. Holt stated police had previously responded to Bradley’s apartment for domestic disputes but found no prior indication of such a crime. Bradley’s bond was denied in Cobb County Magistrate Court, with a subsequent hearing set for October.
Police continue to search for additional remains, seeking to understand Bradley’s connection to the victim and the full scope of the incident.
