Jon Bon Jovi addressed fans after abruptly cutting short his Madison Square Garden concert due to health issues. More than a month following the disruption on July 23, Bon Jovi offered refunds to ticket holders for the shortened performance.
According to Fox News Digital, Ticketmaster sent an email stating, “Thank you for being part of Bon Jovi’s Madison Square Garden shows. In effort to always put the fans first and create the best experience for them, Bon Jovi will be giving refunds to primary ticket purchasers at the original point of purchase for fans who attended the Thursday, July 23, 2026 concert at Madison Square Garden.”
Bon Jovi was unable to provide an additional performance due to scheduling and logistics. The email confirmed automatic refunds would be processed within 14 business days.
During the concert, Bon Jovi had difficulty performing. Train’s frontman, Pat Monahan, stepped in to assist before Bon Jovi decided to end the show. The singer informed fans he was dealing with a sinus infection, leading to the early conclusion.
An insider revealed Bon Jovi’s performance lasted about 90 minutes and featured approximately 15 songs, a shorter duration than usual. Monahan, who attended as a fan, helped with “Livin’ on a Prayer,” taking over vocals midway.
This incident occurred during Bon Jovi’s eight-show residency at Madison Square Garden. Jon Bon Jovi had expressed joy in returning to live performances with his band, despite the setback.
