Clavicular describes it as a comprehensive form of self-improvement.
Looksmaxxing has seen increased popularity particularly among Generation Z and Generation Alpha. The regimen includes unusual and potentially harmful practices like taking stimulants and “bone smashing,” which involves hitting facial bones with a hammer to induce bone growth. This has prompted health experts to caution against the dangers associated with such methods.
Clavicular, a 20-year-old livestreamer, participated in the 424 Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week in 2026. He argues that, unlike traditional male self-improvement focused on body building and physical training, looksmaxxing also prioritizes facial aesthetics.
Known for his hours-long streams on Kick, Clavicular often films himself in nightclubs, socializing and attempting to meet women, which has led to viral content. He aims to reveal what he believes is the reality of hypergamy and the justification for looksmaxxing.
In March, Clavicular was arrested in Florida on a battery charge, accused of inciting a fight between two women and sharing the video on social media. Despite his controversial reputation, many young people have embraced his techniques, drawing concern from critics who worry about his influence.
Sean Hannity questioned Clavicular about his motivations for promoting looksmaxxing. Clavicular argues that physical attractiveness is crucial, claiming it affects every social interaction, including job opportunities. He asserts that without good looks, individuals are less likely to achieve success.
