Kai Trump, granddaughter of President Donald Trump, recently shared her choice for “song of the year” which took fans by surprise. In a video on her YouTube channel and TikTok, the 19-year-old discussed how she was taken off guard when asked to select a song that would define her past year.

“I really did not know. I couldn’t think of a song at all. And I’m like, you know what? I just said ‘Rolling in the Deep’ by Adele,” Kai commented with a laugh, admitting it was the only song that came to mind.

Released in 2010, Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” marked a significant breakthrough in her career. The song dominated the Billboard Hot 100 chart for seven weeks and topped charts in numerous countries.
