1 hour ago 0

Kim Kardashian’s mansion in Hidden Hills was the site of a break-in on Sunday. A vehicle was stolen from the property, as confirmed by officials to Fox News Digital.

Deputies from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s station responded to a reported burglary on the 24800 block of Long Valley Road. They arrived before 4 p.m. and found an adult male at the scene. The man was arrested.

Kardashian, who is 45, and her four children currently do not reside at the residence, as it is under renovation.

The suspect, identified as Trey Mendel, was allegedly seen loading items into a vehicle at the home, according to reports by the Los Angeles Times. Authorities stated, “Upon arrival, deputies located a white male adult — Trey Mendel — and placed him under arrest for burglary and taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent.”

The suspect was taken to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station and booked on these charges. He remains in custody. The investigation is still ongoing and has been submitted to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for potential charges. The stolen vehicle does not belong to Kardashian.

Authorities have urged anyone with further information to reach out to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station Detective Bureau.

Kardashian’s representatives have not yet commented on the incident. At the time of the break-in, she was not present at the home.

In 2014, Kardashian and her ex-husband, Kanye West, purchased a mansion in Hidden Hills for approximately $20 million. During their divorce proceedings, Kardashian bought the house and its contents from West for $23 million. She continues to reside there with their children: North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm. The divorce was finalized in November 2022.
