AEW Triumphs at All In with New Signings and Championship Wins

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) reached new heights on Sunday during its All In event. The company’s major annual show kicked off with the seven-team AEW World Trios Championship match, transitioning from the Buy In to the main show.

The match saw several teams entering the ring, culminating in the appearance of the wildcard entrants. First to make his entrance was Swerve Strickland, electrifying the crowd at Wembley Stadium in London. The audience’s excitement escalated when the music signaled the arrival of two newcomers, Kofi and Austin Creed, now performing as the tag team ‘The New Level.’

This marked their debut in AEW following their time as free agents in the professional wrestling circuit. Known formerly as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in WWE, they were notable for their multiple tag team championship wins. Their signing further strengthens AEW’s tag team division.

In the match, defending champions Adam Page, Bandido, and Brody King battled fiercely but were eventually eliminated. The contest also saw the eliminations of teams: Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy, and Roderick Strong; Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, and David Finlay; as well as Colten and Austin Gunn alongside Jay White.

Ultimately, it boiled down to Strickland, Kofi, and Creed facing off against Claudio Castagnoli, Pac, and Kidd. In a tense moment, Kofi narrowly avoided elimination with assistance from Prince Nana, who kept Kofi in the match. The teamwork of Strickland, Kofi, and Creed prevailed, earning them the AEW Trios Championship.

Acknowledging the significant addition, AEW owner Tony Khan confirmed Kofi and Creed’s official joining of the promotion. This signing is expected to bring more attention to AEW’s growing roster.

Earlier in the event, another title change took place as Persephone defeated Maya World to secure the TBS Championship. This championship turnover highlighted AEW’s action-packed evening.
