Dear Eric,
The struggle with gossiping is real for me. I find immense enjoyment in discussing others and have no regrets about it. However, my spouse deeply dislikes this habit, and it’s causing tension between us.
Whether I’m with friends, on the phone, or out and about, gossiping is a part of my routine. Although I avoid dragging my spouse into gossip, he believes it reflects poorly on me. His constant reminders have become a point of contention in our relationship.
Trying to adapt my behavior has not been easy, especially since my desire to gossip remains strong.
