On October 21, 2026, President Donald Trump openly admired Republican Senator Jon Husted’s physique, calling him a “pile of muscle” during a rally in Greenville, North Carolina.
Trump addressed the crowd, stating, “I’m studying his body. I’ve never studied the body of a man before. It’s not my thing. Nothing wrong with it, of course.” He proceeded to remark on the senator’s build, “I looked at his ass, and then I looked at his legs. I said, ‘His ass, s***, it’s like a pile of muscle.'”
Trump was impressed by Husted’s strength, noting, “I tapped him on the shoulder, and it actually hurt my hand. He’s like a piece of steel.”
This marked the second occasion that Trump praised Husted’s physical attributes. He previously commented on Husted’s physique during a rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on October 12. Trump highlighted the senator’s football background, saying, “I looked, and I watched up and down. I looked at his ass, and I looked at the whole—and then I looked at his hands. Look at his hands. He’s got these, like, claws.”
Senator Husted, who previously played as an all-American defensive back at the University of Dayton, is currently in a close race against former Senator Sherrod Brown, a Democrat, in Ohio’s U.S. Senate election. The race has been rated a “toss-up” by the Cook Political Report.
