Jacy Jayne Prepares for Money in the Bank Challenge

Women’s United States Champion Jacy Jayne is gearing up for her first Money in the Bank ladder match, aiming for the briefcase and a world title shot. Her strategic approach remains a secret, as she prefers to keep fans guessing about her plans.

Jayne’s Competitive Edge

Jayne shared insights into her preparation, stating, “I definitely have a strategy. I’m not going to tell you what it is. You gotta watch the match to find out.” She emphasized her familiarity with the competitors, having studied their moves extensively. “I’m ready to climb that ladder and be ‘JC in the Bank.'”

Potential Targets and Strategy

Currently, wrestling champions Stephanie Vaquer and Chelsea Green represent prime targets for Jayne, with Green being on the same SmackDown roster. Jayne made clear her intent, stating, “Everyone’s a target. I want them to not know what way I’m coming.” Her tactic involves keeping opponents unaware of when she might pursue a title opportunity.

Jayne’s Transition to the Main Roster

Previously the NXT women’s champion, Jayne expressed her readiness for a main roster call-up, making her SmackDown debut in April alongside teammates Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid. Her growth is evident, as she remarked, “When you believe in yourself, you can accomplish crazy things.”

Supporting Stablemates

Jayne celebrated victories alongside her Fatal Influence stablemates, Henley and Reid, as they secured tag team titles. She expressed pride in their achievements, especially for newcomer Lainey Reid, saying, “I felt like a proud mom watching her win the title.” The bonds within their team are strong, as they support each other’s progress.

Jayne faces competitors Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend, and Tiffany Stratton in the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match. This event, held at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, will be broadcast on ESPN Unlimited, beginning at 6 p.m. ET.
