Secretary of State Rubio Discusses Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena

Secretary of State Marco Rubio commented on the topic of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) during an interview, stating that if the administration had any information on UAPs, President Donald Trump would likely address the nation in a primetime speech. Rubio emphasized that the government would show pictures and videos related to UAPs to ensure transparency.

During the discussion with Katie Miller on “The Katie Miller Podcast,” Rubio maintained that his interest in UAPs is based on observations of unknown objects flying over military installations. He clarified that while some view the topic as a conspiracy theory, he believes it warrants serious investigation.

“I don’t know who it is. I don’t know what it is, but there are things flying over our military installations, and they’re not ours, and we should look into this, be serious about it,” Rubio remarked.

Following recent videos released by the Pentagon, the discussion on UAPs has gained attention. Rubio explained that previous administrations had attempted to downplay information regarding UAPs, but President Trump instructed the Department of War to release relevant government files related to these phenomena.

Anna Kelly from the White House stated, “President Trump directed the Department of War to identify and release government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena, and unidentified flying objects because he is the most transparent president in history.” She added that the aim is to let the American public form their own opinions based on the disclosed information.

Rubio admitted to previously using the topic of UAPs as a distraction in his Senate career. However, he noted the changing perception of UAPs as a legitimate subject for investigation.

In addition, President Trump has moved to allow former government employees and contractors to share information about UAPs by waiving prior nondisclosure agreements. This initiative encourages contributions to UAP investigations by entities like the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).

Joshua Golembeske, a leading investigator and host of “Cosmic Disclosure,” praised Rubio’s efforts in advancing the UAP report. However, he criticized Rubio’s remarks on using UAPs as a diversion. Golembeske pointed out that Rubio had focused on removing the stigma around reporting UAP sightings, only to acknowledge using the subject to change discussions.

He added, “Where he says if we knew, Trump would be on primetime showing the pictures. Maybe. But that assumes he’d be told. Intelligence whistleblower David Grusch testified under oath that these programs were kept from Congress — kept from AARO, the office we built to look into it. Rubio himself said whistleblowers came to him scared of retaliation. So ‘I wasn’t briefed’ doesn’t mean there’s nothing there.”
