According to insiders, recent discussions have initiated about her potential candidacy. The special primary filing period is from July 21 to July 28, with the primary on August 11. Other political figures like Reps. Russell Fry, Nancy Mace, Ralph Norman, and Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette are also contemplating their candidacies, as per the Associated Press.

Senator Lindsey Graham’s Legacy

Memorial services for Senator Lindsey Graham are scheduled for July 28 in Washington, D.C., and July 29 in Columbia and Pickens County, South Carolina. His communications director shared the details, emphasizing the senator’s enduring contributions and legacy.

Darline Graham Nordone has made history as South Carolina’s first female senator following her brother’s passing on July 11. She expressed a commitment to honoring his memory and leadership, stating, “Lindsey has always been there for me, and now I will be there for him.”

Dr. Lindsey Graham passed away at age 71 from an aortic dissection caused by arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. The medical examiner’s preliminary findings confirmed this, as revealed in a statement from his office.
