Trump’s Image on U.S. Currency Raises Questions

2 weeks ago 0

The U.S. Mint has initiated the production of a new $1 coin featuring President Donald Trump, as stated by the Treasury Department. This decision follows a growing trend of world leaders, prominently kings and queens, appearing on over 1,000 international banknotes and coins.

The slang expression ‘dead presidents’ often refers to cash money. Now, President Donald Trump, who is very much alive, might soon be seen on U.S. coins and banknotes. This development comes after Trump’s return to office in 2025, where his administration has prominently featured his image and name on numerous structures and memorabilia, including federal buildings and national park passes.

Including Trump on U.S. currency would embody the pinnacle of these branding efforts. It’s worth noting that the current value of physical U.S. currency in circulation has reached a historic high of over $2.46 trillion.
