According to The Economist/YouGov poll, Trump’s approval rating with Hispanics stands at 37%, while 59% disapprove. His overall approval rating is 39%, with a 56% disapproval rating. The poll surveyed 1,549 U.S. adults with a margin of error of 3.5%, conducted from June 13 to June 15.
In comparison, a survey from the previous week recorded Trump’s approval rating among Hispanics at 31%, with a 62% disapproval rating. Two weeks prior, approval was 33%, with 67% disapproving. In late May, Trump’s approval among Hispanic Americans was 23%, as 66% disapproved.
White House Spokeswoman Allison Schuster commented that President Trump values the record support from Hispanic Americans, which contributed to his 2024 election victory. She emphasized ongoing efforts to enhance life for all Americans, citing substantial middle-class tax cuts and economic improvements post-pandemic as pivotal.
During Trump’s second term, Hispanic support waned due to his administration’s strict immigration policies and fluctuating economic indicators. Florida State University’s political science professor Andrew Ballard noted the significance of Hispanic voters to Trump’s success but highlighted the predominant influence of white voters within Republican strategies.

An Emerson College Polling survey shows Trump’s approval among Hispanics at 29.5%, with a 65% disapproval rating. His general approval was 39.4%, versus a 54.6% disapproval rating. Conducted on June 7 and June 8, this survey included 1,200 likely voters with a margin of error of 2.8%.
