On Sunday, former President Donald Trump criticized Fox News over its coverage of his recent rallies. He expressed his dissatisfaction in a Truth Social post, stating that the network did not adequately cover events held in Ohio, Alabama, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Trump claimed the rallies attracted significant crowds, indicating strong support within the Republican Party. He mentioned that other networks were covering the events more diligently and suggested Fox News viewers were interested in more comprehensive reporting.
He also criticized Fox News for certain programming decisions, specifically pointing to commentator Jessica Tarlov. Trump accused the network of prioritizing airtime for political opponents rather than his rallies.
Trump warned that this approach might lead to a decline in viewership for Fox News, suggesting that neglecting rallies might cause viewers to switch to other channels.
These comments come during a period of tension between the White House and several media outlets. The administration is currently in a legal dispute with CNN, MS NOW, and Politico regarding a ban on these organizations from White House access. This development adds another layer to the ongoing media landscape challenges.
