The Hardys Capture TNA Tag Team Championship at Slammiversary

The Hardys have a long legacy of using ladders as a tool for victory in the wrestling ring. At Slammiversary, they once again proved their prowess. Climbing a ladder in professional wrestling always brings the risk of danger, and when Jeff Hardy ascends one, fans anticipate thrilling maneuvers. On Sunday night, Jeff Hardy showcased his skills in a four-way ladder match against Bear Bronson and Brian Myers, Jason Hotch and John Skyler, and Vincent and Dutch.

During the match, Matt Hardy strategically placed Hotch and Skyler between a ladder positioned between the barricade and the ring apron. Jeff Hardy then took a ladder from Vincent and Dutch, climbed to the top, and executed the Swanton Bomb.

Following this move, the Hardys seized the ladder in the center of the ring to claim the TNA World Tag Team Championship belts, marking another historic win. This victory represents their fifth reign in TNA, tying them with Beer Money Inc and The Wolves for the most reigns in the brand’s history.

The Hardys regained the title at Slammiversary after holding it for 265 days last year, before losing to Myers and Bronson at Rebellion. Bronson and Myers held the titles for 78 days before the Hardys reclaimed their position as champions.
