Tarek and Heather El Moussa Face Home Burglary While on Vacation

Tarek and Heather El Moussa experienced a burglary at their Southern California home while on vacation. The incident occurred at their Newport Beach residence, which was broken into earlier this week. The couple was away in Mexico with family at the time.

According to Newport Beach Police Department, the burglary happened near the Mariners Community after 6 p.m. on June 8. Suspects accessed the property’s backyard and shattered a rear sliding glass door to enter the house. They reportedly ransacked the primary bedroom closet and fled through the backyard.

Jewelry was stolen during the home invasion, which likely occurred between June 6 and June 8. Currently, there are no suspects identified in the case.

Heather Rae El Moussa expressed her feelings on social media, saying, “Disgusted by some of the cruel heartless people in this world.” She added that she and Tarek feel violated and are really sad, but assured that they and their children are safe. Heather further mentioned taking a break for a few days before providing more details.

The couple welcomed their son, Tristan, in January 2023. Tarek El Moussa was previously married to Christina Haack, with whom he co-parents two children. They starred together in HGTV’s “The Flip Off” after their divorce.
