Shooting Incident on Route 59 in Naperville

On Friday night, an exchange of gunfire occurred between the occupants of two cars on Route 59 near Aurora Avenue, as reported by Naperville police. The event took place around 9:20 p.m. in the 600 block of South Route 59. According to a news release, a witness helped officers locate the two vehicles involved in the incident.

The individuals in the cars were interviewed by the police, but no charges have been filed so far. The police indicated in the release that the parties involved knew each other and that the incident does not pose a threat to the public. Additionally, no evidence suggests that anyone was injured during the shooting.
