In August 2001, I was fresh out of college. I lived with four roommates in a converted loft in TriBeCa. From there, we had a panoramic view of lower Manhattan. The World Trade Center stood prominently, just eight blocks away.
These words underline the proximity and deeply personal connection Daniel had with the city and its iconic structures at that time.
