Rapper Nicki Minaj expressed her continued support for President Donald Trump during a Republican campaign rally in Michigan. Speaking at the Port Huron event, Minaj emphasized her backing for Trump and noted she would endorse him again if he pursued another presidential term.

Minaj joined Trump, who was campaigning for Republican Senate nominee Mike Rogers and gubernatorial hopeful John James. “President Trump, it’s an honor to support you every time,” she said, affirming her unwavering support. Trump, currently serving his second term, cannot seek a third term due to the 22nd Amendment.

During the rally, Minaj reiterated her admiration for Trump, describing him as a symbol of resilience. “Since Trump’s return, he has revitalized the country’s energy,” Minaj stated. She expressed gratitude, believing he offers a brighter future for Americans.

The rapper also encouraged support for Republican candidates in the upcoming midterms, highlighting the importance of the elections for the party. “The vote is a significant turning point for our nation,” she remarked.

Minaj addressed concerns over policies relating to transgender-related issues affecting children. “We don’t want our children targeted with sex changes,” she asserted.

Trump introduced Minaj as the “queen of rap” and, with humor, noted that he didn’t enjoy being overshadowed. “This woman overshadows me,” Trump joked, acknowledging her popularity. The crowd responded enthusiastically to Minaj’s appearance, and Trump commended her, saying, “You see why everyone admires Nicki.”

Minaj’s presence on the campaign trail follows her recent media appearances, where she urged young Americans to vote in the midterms. White House communications director Steven Cheung added to the conversation, humorously suggesting in a social media post that Minaj could be the White House press secretary.
