Former NFL Pro Bowler and sports broadcaster Marcellus Wiley was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on charges of domestic battery. Wiley, aged 51, is currently being held without bond. The arrest, occurring on the Fourth of July, is documented in court records though further details are yet to be provided.
A previous report by Rolling Stone highlighted allegations of sexual assault by four women in April 2026. Wiley had denied these claims through his “More To It with Marcellus Wiley” podcast, asserting that he holds evidence proving the accusations to be misrepresentations.
Additionally, he was sued by three women who alleged that he raped them while attending Columbia University where he played college football. Wiley dismissed these allegations as “B.S.”
Wiley is married to Annemarie Wiley, a former star on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The Rolling Stone article notes that two of the claims of sexual assault occurred between 1995 and 1999. One woman accused Wiley of grooming her from age 13, leading to rape at 18 when Wiley played for the Dallas Cowboys. She recounted that Wiley flew her to Dallas for her 18th birthday and referred to her as ‘little momma’.
Another allegation comes from a former ESPN production assistant who claims Wiley deceived her in a hotel room under the pretense of a work meeting in 2009, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her.
Wiley’s professional career began with the Buffalo Bills after being picked 52nd overall in the 1997 NFL Draft. He earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2001 during his stint with the San Diego Chargers, and later played for the Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars before retiring after the 2006 season.
