The comic spoke at the premiere of his new HBO series, ‘Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness,’ which features satirical sketches on pivotal moments in U.S. history. The series is scheduled for release on June 26 and includes guest appearances from Jerry Seinfeld, Vince Vaughn, Rita Wilson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Barack Obama.
Former President Obama, whose company Higher Ground produced the series, is mentioned by David as being ‘really good at ad-libbing.’ The UFC Freedom 250 event on June 15, 2026, marked Trump’s 80th birthday and took place on the White House’s South Lawn.
With roughly 4,300 attendees, including 1,200 active-duty service members, the event featured the national anthem performed by the Marine Band alongside Zac Brown. It concluded with a Navy Blue Angels and Air Force Thunderbirds flyover.
