Joe Coffey, a notable figure in professional wrestling, has joined Major League Wrestling (MLW) to strengthen its roster. A former WWE NXT star, Coffey joined MLW with his Gallus stablemates Mark Coffey and Wolfgang. The trio has been rebranded as Glasgow Boys on Top (GBOT), with aspirations to secure championship titles.
Reflecting on his decision to join MLW, Coffey expressed his desire for more character development. In an interview with Fox News Digital, he explained, “I feel like I just want more character development. I want to be able to tell a story. The past couple years I just felt as if that was kind of wasted. I have a lot to offer. So do Mark and Wolfie.” Coffey is eager to share his ideas and appreciates the collaborative environment fostered by MLW’s administration.
Joe Coffey hopes to win a title soon, not only for himself but also for his GBOT teammates. He emphasized the importance of dominating in the ring, stating, “It’s got to be pure violence, to be honest. We have had restrictors, orders before but now when we’re in the ring we just have to be dominant.” Coffey recalls his past experiences with wrestling legends and sold-out arenas, demonstrating his determination to make an impact at MLW.
Recently, MLW Fusion launched on Veeps, a global streaming platform, making the promotion accessible to a broader audience. Coffey believes this is a “massive” step for MLW, as it introduces fresh and engaging storylines to new fans. “Actually watching ‘Fusion’ Saturday, I feel as if ‘MLW Fusion’ has what the pro wrestling world is missing,” Coffey shared. He is enthusiastic about the feedback and looks forward to showcasing what MLW has to offer.
As part of MLW, Coffey is committed to proving himself as a significant player, not resting on past achievements but striving to leave a lasting impression.
