Federal Judge Restores White House Access for Cable Giant

38 minutes ago 0

A federal judge recently decided to restore White House access for the media outlet previously restricted. Although the cable giant regained entry to the White House, it remains prohibited from flying aboard the president’s aircraft.

The judgment follows CNN’s expressed intention to pursue further legal measures against the government if President Donald Trump continues to restrict the network’s journalists and personnel from traveling on Air Force One. CNN stands firm in defending its rights and maintaining a fair coverage environment.

Additionally, along with CNN, media entities MS NOW and Politico secured a preliminary injunction in a federal court last week. This legal victory represents a setback for President Trump’s administration, which sought to exclude these outlets from accessing the White House premises.

These developments highlight ongoing tensions between the press and the current administration. The legal interventions serve as a reminder of the media’s commitment to ensuring transparency and access in governmental proceedings.
