Ella Langley on her sophomore album ‘Dandelion’

3 hours ago 0

Ella Langley recently addressed her strategy for releasing multiple singles as she gears up for her sophomore album, ‘Dandelion.’ This discussion took place during the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, held on March 26 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

During a recent Instagram livestream, Langley appeared to make a subtle remark about fellow music star Riley Green. They have a well-known history of collaboration, with their projects achieving significant success in the country music scene. They hit number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with their song “You Look Like You Love Me.” This was not their only achievement, as they also produced another hit, “Don’t Mind if I Do.” Nevertheless, Langley expressed dissatisfaction with a recent comment from Green, the singer known for “Jesus Saves.”

While speaking on “The Voice,” Green referred to his collaborations with Langley, saying, “I’ve had some success with duets. There was a girl that reminded me a lot of y’all. I took her on tour with me; her name’s Ella Langley. She’s doing pretty well.” Langley responded to this on Instagram, expressing her displeasure with his remark. When a fan questioned her about Green seeming to claim credit for her success, she replied, “Yeah, when that man took credit, no, didn’t love that, but typical. Typical. Pretty typical.”

The situation between the artists has become even more intriguing. According to Country Chord, Langley no longer follows Green on Instagram. A quick check confirms this, although Green still follows Langley. This development has sparked significant interest and speculation among their fans.

Ella Langley has become a prominent figure in country music. Despite the tension, there is hope that she and Green might collaborate again in the future to produce more successful music.
