As of now, more than 26 million Americans have participated in the midterm elections. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump cast their votes on Saturday in Florida before Trump embarked on a trip to Georgia for a campaign rally.

NBC News reports that 14.3 million of these votes were mail-in ballots, while 12.5 million were early in-person. This brings the total to approximately 26.8 million ballots cast nationwide.

The Trumps voted together at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office located in West Palm Beach. Prior to voting, the president spent the morning at his nearby golf course. After casting their ballots, the president wore an “I Voted” sticker and informed reporters that he voted Republican across the board. When asked if he followed party lines, Trump affirmed, “Very much so.”

Trump aims to influence the final phase of the midterm campaign to support Republican candidates nationwide. This includes significant races in Florida, his home state. He endorsed Representative Byron Donalds for governor against Democrat David Jolly and supported Senator Ashley Moody in her race against Democratic state legislator Angie Nixon.

Later on Saturday, Trump planned to travel to Georgia to campaign for Republican Senate candidate Mike Collins and gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson. This visit marks his second rally in Georgia within eight days. The Republican party endeavors to maximize voter turnout leading up to November 3.

While speaking with reporters after voting, Trump addressed several issues. He defended an advertisement from Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. He also discussed his administration’s legal actions concerning the Alaska Senate election. Regarding the conflict in Iran, Trump suggested that both further military action and a negotiated settlement were possible, stating, “I may have to finish it off. Or maybe they’ll make a deal, but I’m not sure. Either way, we win.”

Melania Trump was asked about the possibility of traveling to Ukraine following her involvement in humanitarian efforts in Oleshky. She responded, “We will see.”
