Aaron Parnas, a lawyer known for his criticism of Trump, shared the video on social media. It shows performers stopping their routine as a large structure appears to fall on stage. As of the article’s publication, there has been no reported information on any potential injuries resulting from this incident. The White House was contacted via email by Newsweek for comments.

The Great American State Fair, a key component of these festivities, has faced criticism online regarding attendance and several states’ decisions not to participate.
The event is organized by the Trump-aligned nonprofit, Freedom 250, which orchestrates several semi-quincentennial events. Earlier, another viral video from Trump’s fair showed a triumphal arch’s decorative elements appearing to detach, raising online speculations. The footage suggests separation at the ornamental column joints, revealing construction foam or caulk beneath. This observation indicates the columns are decorative and not part of the main structure.
The Great American Fair
The Great American State Fair is the focal point of Freedom 250’s 250th-anniversary celebration. Running from June 25 to July 10, the 16-day exposition occurs on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., uniting all 50 states and six U.S. territories. Exhibits showcase history, culture, tourism, and local traditions. Organizers describe it as a modern-day World’s Fair, celebrating American people, innovations, and spirit.
The fair includes state pavilions, music, food vendors, military displays, historical exhibits, and family attractions. These activities lead up to a planned July 4 celebration headlined by Trump. On Truth Social, Trump commented on the event, emphasizing its success and questioning whether previous administrations could have achieved it.
