The fiancée of Brandon Clarke, a former forward for the Memphis Grizzlies, mourned his loss with a heartfelt tribute. Clarke, aged 29, was discovered deceased in his home near Los Angeles last Monday. First responders noted the presence of drug paraphernalia, as reported by the Associated Press.

Amber Lorraine, Clarke’s fiancée, expressed her sorrow over the weekend through a post on Instagram. Sharing images of them together, she wrote, ‘There are no words to describe this feeling. I never thought I’d have to live life without you.’ Lorraine described Clarke as ‘the most special person, with the biggest heart’ and mentioned their plans to marry soon. The proposal day, she said, was ‘the happiest day’ of her life.

“This world isn’t the same without you,” she continued.

The Memphis Grizzlies organization released a statement acknowledging Clarke’s death, highlighting his contributions during his seven seasons with the team. ‘We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of Brandon Clarke,’ they stated, emphasizing his impact as both a teammate and a community member in Memphis.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver also commented on Clarke’s passing. He described Clarke as a cherished leader and teammate who played with passion. Silver extended condolences to Clarke’s family, friends, and the Grizzlies.

Earlier this year, Clarke faced legal issues when he was arrested in Arkansas on various charges, including possession of a controlled substance. He was scheduled for a court appearance last week.
