3 weeks ago 0

The Nation, founded in 1865 by abolitionists, has long provided an independent and progressive perspective on political and cultural issues.

During the Trump administration, challenges to women’s health have intensified. The United States faces maternal mortality rates that surpass those of other developed nations. Efforts to address these disparities have faced setbacks, as the National Institutes for Health (NIH) reduces funding for initiatives that explore issues of race, sex, or gender. This includes restricting the usage of terms like “women” and “diversity” in funding proposals.
