This hearing may involve a change of plea in Woods’ DUI case, which traces back to the rollover incident on Jupiter Island over five months prior. At the time, a photo from WPTV displayed an SUV registered to Woods overturned on its side. Authorities encountered Woods at the Martin County crash site, approximately 40 miles from West Palm Beach. An arrest affidavit noted Woods’ failure in a field sobriety test and possession of prescription painkillers.

Following the crash, Woods declared he would take a break from the public and consider personal recovery treatment options. He was booked into the Martin County, Florida, jail on March 27, 2026. Initially, Woods pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of DUI and refusing testing. He also faced a citation for careless driving. His court appearance was initially set for September 8, but was rescheduled to Wednesday morning according to a court notice filed Tuesday.

His plea conference is arranged for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Martin County Courthouse.
