An Angel Father’s New Role in ICE: A Personal Mission

47 minutes ago 0

Joe Abraham, whose daughter was tragically killed by an illegal alien, is joining the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He has accepted the position of Executive Director at the Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement (VOICE) office within the agency. This move is motivated by personal experiences and a mission stemming from profound loss.

Abraham’s daughter, Katie Abraham, and her friend Chloe Polzin were victims in a fatal car crash in January 2025. The incident involved Julio Cucul-Bol, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, who faced multiple charges and was sentenced to 30 years in prison following a guilty plea.

Since the tragic event, Abraham has advocated for stronger immigration policies, including closing borders and deporting illegal aliens. He played a significant role in Operation Midway Blitz, a federal immigration enforcement initiative in the Chicago area from September to December 2025, which resulted in over 4,000 arrests.

Abraham’s appointment is praised by White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis, who regards him as a fitting leader for the VOICE office, considering his active role in supporting victims and criticizing sanctuary policies.

The VOICE office, reinstated by the Trump administration in April 2025, has significantly impacted families affected by crimes committed by illegal aliens. Reports indicate that the office received 897 calls from victims, family members, and advocates, assisting 588 victims and 185 victim family members seeking services and information. Commonly reported crimes include assault, rape, sexual assault, homicide, and manslaughter.

Abraham’s dedication to this cause underscores his commitment to making victims and their families heard, ensuring they are treated with dignity within the immigration system.
