Virginia Emergency Crews Address Pentagon Incident

On Thursday morning, emergency crews in Virginia responded to a situation at the Pentagon described as a ‘hazardous materials incident.’ The incident led to precautionary measures following the detection of poor air quality.

Pentagon’s Response

Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell stated that advanced systems identified an issue with air quality, prompting protection protocols. These include a shelter-in-place order for parts of the building. Parnell emphasized that response teams are ready to assist those inside the building.
