The American press has chronicled many wars throughout U.S. history. These conflicts have significantly impacted the country and its citizens. Peter Arnett, an Associated Press correspondent, is one example of a journalist who has reported on the front lines. In a notable moment on November 11, 1965, Arnett was seen marching with Vietnamese troops during the Vietnam War. This conflict was notoriously challenging and perilous for reporters. Unmarked territories and the absence of clear front lines made it especially dangerous.
