4 weeks ago 0

Republican officials have made contact with Tom Kean Jr., who has been absent from Congress for several weeks. Kean’s office stated he will eventually address his absence.

Despite officials reporting they have spoken with Kean, his current location remains unknown.

According to recent reports, Tom Kean Jr., a Republican representative, has re-established communication with political leaders. He had been missing from Congress for nearly 12 weeks due to an unspecified medical issue, which occurred during a crucial re-election campaign.

Last Thursday, Carlos Santos reported receiving a call at 4:52 p.m., and Joe LaBarbera noted his phone lit up five minutes later while he was driving.

LaBarbera, the Republican chairman of Sussex County, recalled asking if Kean needed anything. Kean responded by requesting prayers.

Santos, the G.O.P. leader in Union County, mentioned the call lasted two minutes and said Kean sounded healthy and eager to return to campaigning.

Both Santos and LaBarbera said that Kean did not reveal details about the health condition that has kept him away since mid-March, but assured them of his full recovery.
