Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) legend Mickie James is set to make an appearance at Bound for Glory next weekend. This event is one of TNA’s most significant annual shows.
During the Thursday episode of “Impact,” a vignette aired featuring an older TNA logo displayed on a crate. As the crate opened, a strong beam of light emitted, eventually revealing a white cowgirl hat and a denim jacket. A woman placed the hat on her head, indicating the return of Mickie James.
Mickie James’ Legacy in TNA
Mickie James has had multiple tenures with TNA. She began her journey with the company in 2002 when TNA operated under the National Wrestling Alliance banner. After a year with TNA, she transitioned to WWE but returned in 2010 to engage in a rivalry with Madison Rayne. James claimed the TNA Knockouts Championship in April 2011, marking herself as the first woman to hold the TNA Knockouts Championship, WWE Women’s Championship, and WWE Divas Championship. Her achievements include being a five-time Knockouts champion.
In 2021, she rejoined TNA and remained until 2023. Earlier in the year, she competed against the Elegance Brand at No Surrender and appeared on subsequent “Impact” episodes.
Last year, Mickie James was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame, solidifying her legacy within the organization.
