Before heading down the ramp, he shared a supportive moment with his wife, Alex Windsor, and received the Union Jack flag from Jon Moxley.

Ospreay had the home crowd’s support as he faced Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at the All In event, marking the pinnacle of Ospreay’s wrestling career. The longstanding rivalry between Ospreay and Omega began with their matches in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Early in the match, Omega attempted to secure a quick victory by attacking Ospreay with a TV monitor and executing a powerbomb through a table. Despite the brutal start, Ospreay retaliated with a fierce Hidden Blade move, injuring Omega.

Neither wrestler entertained the idea of defeat. As the referee counted, Omega remained determined. Ospreay connected another Hidden Blade and attempted a Styles Clash, yet Omega still avoided being pinned.

The competitors exchanged powerful hits. Omega managed to execute a V Trigger and Tiger Driver ’91. When Omega delivered a second V Trigger, he set up for his One-Winged Angel, only for Ospreay to kick out.

The AEW World Championship was invaluable to both Omega and Ospreay. Omega found himself delivering another V Trigger unsuccessfully. As he attempted one more One-Winged Angel, Ospreay countered with his own Tiger Driver.

With determination, Ospreay executed one final Hidden Blade, successfully pinning Omega. In an emotional victory, he was declared the AEW World Champion on August 30, 2026, becoming the first Englishman to win a world championship in Britain.
