A 73-year-old man, Craig K. Streeter from Mahopac, remains missing for over three weeks after his unattended RV was discovered at a remote Adirondack Mountains campsite in upstate New York. According to the New York State Police, Streeter was last seen on August 2nd at Stewart’s Shop in Indian Lake.
Streeter, described as an outdoorsman, is known to disconnect from communication for brief periods. However, it is unusual for him to be out of touch for this length of time. Authorities expressed concern and are actively searching for him.
The search began when New York State Forest Rangers discovered Streeter’s RV at campsite 36 on Moose River Road in the town of Inlet, showing no signs of recent activity. Unable to find Streeter, additional law enforcement agencies were called to assist in the ongoing search effort involving multiple agencies.
As of now, police have found no indications of foul play. Streeter was last seen wearing a dark-colored long-sleeved shirt and jeans, leaving the store in his RV.
Authorities urge anyone who encountered Streeter while camping or traveling along Moose River Road or nearby areas to contact the New York State Police at 518-897-2000.
The search continues, with authorities welcoming any information from the public that might assist in locating Craig Streeter.
