Former Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick shared a contrasting view. He mentioned that his friends used his season tickets for the first preseason game against the Carolina Panthers and reported a positive experience. Despite social media criticism, Fitzpatrick trusts feedback from people he knows well.

Fitzpatrick, collaborating with VRST, the men’s activewear brand by DICK’S Sporting Goods, stated, “Everybody has their opinions. It could be the opinion of 14 people versus the opinion of 59,000 people. Fitzpatrick argued that the lower capacity might enhance the game-day experience. “It’s 60,000 people, but I think for the opponent that comes in there, it’s going to feel even louder,” he stated. He highlighted the stadium’s design, including a canopy, which could amplify crowd noise.
