Rep. Randy Fine, a Republican from Florida, emerged victorious in the party’s primary for Florida’s 6th Congressional District. He defeated multiple contestants after a campaign driven by intense personal attacks. Fine’s win was expected in a district considered solidly Republican by Cook Political Report.

Competitors included businessman Manuel P. Asensio, challenger Aaron Baker, retired U.S. Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Charles Gambaro, and social media influencer Dan Bilzerian. Bilzerian launched antisemitic assaults against Fine during the race.

Fine entered the contest with significant advantages, such as a strong fundraising lead and endorsement from President Donald Trump. Trump called Fine a “MAGA Warrior” in his October 2025 endorsement.

Previously elected to Congress in a 2025 special election, Fine quickly became one of the Republican Party’s strongest voices in supporting Israel and combating antisemitism. Known as the “Hebrew Hammer,” Fine embraced the nickname highlighting his dedication to Jewish community protection.

Bilzerian, a social media influencer, gained notoriety for his extravagant lifestyle. He founded Ignite International Brands, selling disposable vapes, vodka, and tequila. He is associated with Andrew Tate, another influential online personality facing legal issues.

Bilzerian has made numerous antisemitic remarks, claiming Jews were involved in historical events like the Sept. 11 attacks and John F. Kennedy’s assassination. He questions Holocaust fatalities and accuses Jews of controlling media.

Days before the election, Bilzerian posted inflammatory content against Fine, including an AI-generated ad filled with antisemitic rhetoric. House Speaker Mike Johnson criticized these ads, stating such hatred is unwelcome in politics or America.

Fine’s history in Florida politics includes eight years in the House and Senate, focusing on initiatives like school choice and immigration enforcement. These efforts reflect his commitment to challenging objectionable schools’ ideologies.

Randy Fine’s primary victory positions him for the upcoming November general election in a predominantly Republican district.
